Duration
Total adventure: ~5 hours
Reindeer sledding: ~1 hour (weather and snow may affect the length – that’s part of the Arctic charm)
Good to know
This is not about speed or adrenaline, but about experiencing the quiet magic of the Arctic. The sleds glide peacefully across the snow, pulled by reindeer the way it has been done for generations.
In high season, we may split into smaller groups – this way, everyone gets plenty of time with the reindeer and a more personal experience.
After sledding, you’ll be invited to feed the reindeer and step inside a warm lavvu (Sámi tent), where you can listen to stories and learn about Sámi traditions around the fire.
